Adopt an Animal

The staff at the Draper City Animal Shelter strive to find each animal that has made its way to the shelter a safe and loving home. Take a look at the animals that are available for adoption. Visitors are welcome to visit the shelter and the animals to see if they are a perfect fit for them and their families.

Boudin

I’m a husky mix, male, 1-2 years old. I’m a very handsome guy and love to be brushed. I enjoy taking a few laps around the yard but would prefer to be your couch buddy. I’m a lover that likes to snuggle and sit right next to you. I don’t mind other dogs but tend to do my own thing. I like to go for walks and explore my new surroundings. I’m a very well behaved boy looking for my forever family.

Wylie

I’m a Jack Russel terrier mix, male, about 2-3 years old. I’m a fun loving guy who is very curious and has a more independent attitude. I love to stretch my legs and run out in the yard. I’ve been working on learning how to play fetch and love to roll in the cool grass. I have am interested in making new friends but tend to get along with my lady friends better. One of my favorite things are car rides, they're the best. I’m looking for a family to take me on my next adventure.

Toby

I’m a male husky about 1 - 1 ½ years old. I am a very well behaved young man who is very gentle. I politely wait for my food and I take treats very softly while sitting. I know basic commands like "sit" and "come", and am working on "stay". I walk well on a leash but do get very excited when I first get outside. I’m a big goofball that likes to do zoomies in the yard and am interested in learning fetch. I would do better in a home that does not have small animals and I have shown interest in making new friends with the other shelter dogs.

Desert

Hi! I’m a female cattle dog mix, about 1 year old. I seem to be more of a daddy’s girl and prefer to be around men. I would do better in a home with older children who know and can respect my boundaries. I’m a short cute little thing that loves to run around the yard. I could be my own barrel racer, making cuts, and running sideways. I’m a young girl who is willing to learn and is very treat-motivated. I love to go for walk and get belly rubs.

Honey

Hi, my name is Honey, I’m a spayed/female red heeler mix about 4 years old. I’m a very sweet girl who is on the shy side and very easygoing. I have lived in a home with small children and have done well. I show interest in smaller dogs but tend to be scared and very nervous of large dogs. I would do best in a home that can help socialize me with other animals and people. I would love a family that can help build my confidence and take me out on new experiences to learn and grow.

Working cats help deter rodents at barns, farms, horse stables, other sustainable locations with outside shelter, or any property sustainable for independent-minded felines. These cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Working cat adopters are responsible for providing food and water, shelter from the elements, long-term veterinary care, and must keep the animals contained to their property.

Domestic shorthair, Lynx point.
Domestic medium hair, white/grey tabby.
